KT Tunstall came onto the mainstream music scene in 2006 with her debut album Eye to the Telescope, an eclectic mash-up of pop, electric blues, and alternative rock. The album spawned three hit singles — the Grammy Award-nominated "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree," "Suddenly I See," and "Other Side of the World" — all of which became ubiquitous throughout world media outlets. Eye is now certified platinum in the U.S., with international sales exceeding 3.5 million copies.
Tunstall’s sophomore effort, Drastic Fantastic, was released in September 2007 and has already taken root on radio stations with the blues thumping “Hold On,” a single centered on karma and responsibility reminiscent of Bob Marley’s “Judge Me.”
